Tottenham recorded a famous victory on Tuesday night against Serie A outfit AC Milan at the San Siro. That night had everything in it that makes a great European Cup tie, controversy, passion and importantly a victory for an English side. For Tottenham there is still a long way to go before they can be remembered as one of England’s great sides in the major competition of European football.
