Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to the news that Vincent Janssen has won the Liga MX Apertura trophy.
The former Spurs striker left the club in the summer, having scored just six goals in 42 appearances for the north London side.
A move to Monterrey, though, has given Janssen a fresh lease of life and he netted 10 goals in 22 outings as the club won the trophy.
And several fans have reacted to the news with genuine warmth, congratulating the forward for his exploits.
Janssen clearly just needed a move.
He was already a handy striker before his move to Spurs, with north London being the scene of the crime and where it all went wrong.

At AZ Alkmaar, for example, Janssen scored 32 goals in 49 outings, convincing Spurs to part with £17m for his signature.
It is just that playing second fiddle to Harry Kane proved too difficult to handle, as did life in the Premier League.
Clearly, life in Mexico has helped him get his mojo back.
Meanwhile, Spurs fans have criticised one man.
