Julien Yanda has already had a taste of professional football at St. Pauli and will now continue his development at Bayern.

Yanda has signed a contract with FCB until 2028. The 17-year-old will initially join Bayern's second team, which plays in the Regionalliga Bayern.

"Julien is a fast and athletically well-trained player who has also regularly trained with the St. Pauli first team," said Markus Weinzierl, sporting director at the Bayern campus.
"We believe in his further development potential and are very pleased that he wants to tackle the transition to men's football with us."

Yanda had been playing for St. Pauli's youth team since 2017, and in the current season he made twelve appearances for the Hamburg club's U19 team (one goal, one assist).
At the end of November, he was part of the Bundesliga squad for the first time in St. Pauli's 2-0 loss in Monchengladbach, but he did not play.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Yanda could make his competitive debut for Bayern on 22 February. The second team of FCB will then face 1. FC Schweinfurt in the Regionalliga at the start of the second half of the season.
