Hosannah played 46 games for the Red Dragons in all competitions after moving to North Wales from Leeds United in 2021. The 24-year-old made just three appearances this season after helping the team secure last season's record-breaking, championship-winning 2022–23 National League campaign.

Hossanah's departure is part of a clear-out at the Welsh club after they made four signings this window. McElhenney and co-owner Ryan Reynolds will have been conscious of keeping their squad under the League Two registration limit of 21 players.
