GiveMeSport report that the Reds are keen on Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong, who is described as "lightning quick", to fill the void left by Real Madrid-bound Alexander-Arnold. The club view the Dutch international's price tag as a potential bargain.

Alexander-Arnold announced earlier this week he was set to leave Liverpool this summer, with the expectation being that a move to Real Madrid will take place. The Reds will not receive a fee for their out-of-contract full-back, so must generate funds from elsewhere to replace him.
